It’s an unstoppable wave that crashes into that part of them that cares, that causes them to want to succeed, that instills in them a desire to please you and behave for you. It is more about the task before them. It may not be fair, or make much sense from your perspective, but it’s reality. This week I was “promoted” to 4th grade. It takes time, & people will tell you you’re too nice & shouldn’t take that nonsense, but listen to your heart. I took their cellular phone I gave them back the following day, it never happened again.
